
Dr James H. Kim

Dr Kim graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1997. He practiced general dentistry in New Zealand for 8 years, during this time he also spent 1 year at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) to attain a certificate of Advanced Implant Dentistry in 2003.
Dr Kim has also volunteered in a dental clinic in Africa for 3 months to provide free dental care for impoverished children and adults. He has also travelled with a group to Cambodia for several weeks to visit orphanages in Phnom Penh, where they provided oral health education to the children and distributed basic dental resources.
He was accepted into his specialist Periodontology programme in New Zealand in 2005 where he also created and led the Student Dental Specialists’ Association. He was the representative for the dental post-graduate body, where he liaised with University Faculty and the student body as well as organizing numerous social events. In 2008, Dr Kim attained his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the specialist stream of Periodontics.
Dr Kim worked as a periodontist in New Zealand for a year before relocating to Australia and establishing himself in the Wollongong and Illawarra area as well as Chatswood in Sydney. He has also been involved in mentoring general dentists in implant surgery and has presented numerous lectures on periodontics and implants both locally and interstate.
Dr Kim is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS), Member of the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists (ANZAP), Member of Australian Dental Association (ADA).

Dr Jack Lin
BDS (Otago), DClinDent (Endo), MRACDS (Endo)
Dr Jack Lin graduated from University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in year 1998. He practiced in Rockhampton Hospital Dental Department (QLD) for one year before he returned to New Zealand. He practiced general dentistry in Auckland, NZ for 5 years. Dr Lin then completed his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry degree at the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2007. Prior to relocating to Sydney.
Dr Lin has published numerous papers in dental journals and is a prominent clinical educator in Australia and New Zealand. He is very active in continuing education programs, with a particular interest in hands-on courses dealing with diagnosis and treatment planning, root canal therapy, problem solving and complication management. Dr Lin is a Dentsply Maillefer key opinion leader and certified trainer, lecturing general dentist for the latest endodontic equipment and technique. He believes in training general dentists with the quality skills and techniques required to provide treatment at the highest standard.
